This year Blue Peter is marketing its 50th anniversary by launching an ambitious appeal to help children eat and grow better food.
Their aim is to tackle the challenge of the global food crisis and international credit crunch, and to leave a lasting legacy for children in the UK and across the globe.
50 celebrities including actress Emma Watson, athlete Chris Hoy and illustrator Nick Park have given up their time to create a unique design on Steelite International’s Monaco White plates.
The plates were auctioned on eBay and raised an impressive £3000.
